The Rocking Chair: Peki is a rocking chair with an unorthodox way of thinking, the chair has eight legs, the idea for this comes from my early school days where I was actually rocking on two legs, with extra 4 legs I am sure it rocks! The object also gives a breath to the industrially boring space. Also a bit of inspired by thorns and so..
How to Produce: I am letting the intellectual reader to guess it.. no just kidding I will explain: Top part in carbonfiber or fiberglass with metal skeletal structure, bottom parts can follow the same procedure. The painting is optional!.
Possible Materials: The designer noted the following materials could be used in production: Carbonfiber, Fiberglass, Metal.
Dimensions and Packaging: The enclosing box for a single Peki Rocking Chair is 634 mm x 700 mm x 408 mm, each box contains a single Peki Rocking Chair and the bounding box dimensions for the package is 684 mm x 750 mm x 458 mm, roughly 135 pieces fit into 20' standard container and 270 pieces fit into the larger 40' standard container..

The Rocking Chair: This is my first rocking chair design, I hope you enjoy it, I was inspired by many things.. I think the shape of the Smart Car could be one but I am not so sure, I actually created a geometric elastic shape of a cube and then bended the edges to arrive to this design, I would love to have one. As a rocking chair, it is not the perfect one as I believe the back part (the tail) should be longer to allow higher degrees of rocking with better balance.. still it Rocks!. .
How to Produce: Go for rotomolding of plastics! I would like to have it with a smooth finish, also fiberglass (molded) could be another way to realize it, and would also be great in wood..
Possible Materials: The designer noted the following materials could be used in production: Plastic, Fiberglass, Metal.
Dimensions and Packaging: The enclosing box for a single Loop Rocking Chair is 654 mm x 800 mm x 812 mm, each box contains a single Loop Rocking Chair and the bounding box dimensions for the package is 704 mm x 850 mm x 862 mm, roughly 72 pieces fit into 20' standard container and 153 pieces fit into the larger 40' standard container..
