Recreate Image Spot Arm Chair #444 designed in 2009 by Onur Müştak Çobanlı
Permanent Link : http://www.omcdesign.com/?design=444&type=Arm+Chair [View]
Spot Arm Chair
The Arm Chair: Are you working like a bee, a busy bee? Are you a hive master, a master mind? Do you need a chair to underline your status as the master bee (or the queen bee!). Here is my gift to all humanity. The Hive Master chair makes sure to underline that you are a busy bee, this is a luxurious chair with a built-in wireless speaker system, leather cushion and soft waterproof textile. The design was inspired by bees, but it was also be inspired by spots and lines, like a target, to be on target, to match your targets, to be on the spot etc. I aim to add some craziness and happiness to the usually boring work environment. Lets not be slave of the work..

How to Produce: Body in carbonfiber, or fiberglass molded, leather cushion is coating polyurethane body fit cut sponge, a thin metal structure exists, leg is metal cast..

Possible Materials: The designer noted the following materials could be used in production: Plastic, Metal, Wood.

Dimensions and Packaging: The enclosing box for a single Spot Arm Chair is 701 mm x 1091 mm x 965 mm, each box contains a single Spot Arm Chair and the bounding box dimensions for the package is 751 mm x 1141 mm x 1015 mm, roughly 36 pieces fit into 20' standard container and 72 pieces fit into the larger 40' standard container..

Recreate Image Frame Arm Chair #443 designed in 2009 by Onur Müştak Çobanlı
Permanent Link : http://www.omcdesign.com/?design=443&type=Arm+Chair [View]
Frame Arm Chair
The Arm Chair: Framed is a bossy chair concept, the design started from a cube and slowly evolved into the Frame. I wanted to design a chair that could also be used as waiting chair, but with modernist feelings, the texture is beehive hexagon, and I think a version in crocodile leather would be nice..

How to Produce: Could be either plastics which will be injection molded or in fiberglass that can be molded. Alternatively a metal skeleton is build and the skin / textile will be zipped / sew over the metal structure. The metal skeleton can be coated with polyurethane or sponge. .

Possible Materials: The designer noted the following materials could be used in production: Plastic, Metal, Leather.

Dimensions and Packaging: The enclosing box for a single Frame Arm Chair is 608 mm x 630 mm x 608 mm, each box contains a single Frame Arm Chair and the bounding box dimensions for the package is 658 mm x 680 mm x 658 mm, roughly 144 pieces fit into 20' standard container and 288 pieces fit into the larger 40' standard container..

Permanent Link : http://www.omcdesign.com/?design=441&type=Arm+Chair [View]
Istikbal Arm Chair
The Arm Chair: I wanted to design a chair that is organic and fun to have around, I am not satisfied what they sell as design today, simply I think design in todays economy has become "cheap" which is "easy to produce" as it is easy to produce it must be "simplistic".. I definitively want the retro style to come back. This is a large and comfortable chair by the way..

How to Produce: Outer shell and body can be produced by wood carving and lathing, fiberglass molding with lacquer finish, mass production can be done in policarbonate or other plastics. seating plane has sponge / polyurethane which is coated by textiles..

Possible Materials: The designer noted the following materials could be used in production: Plastic, Wood, Metal.

Dimensions and Packaging: The enclosing box for a single Istikbal Arm Chair is 827 mm x 926 mm x 806 mm, each box contains a single Istikbal Arm Chair and the bounding box dimensions for the package is 877 mm x 976 mm x 856 mm, roughly 54 pieces fit into 20' standard container and 108 pieces fit into the larger 40' standard container..

Haylo 2 Arm Chair
The Arm Chair: This is a cosmetic (and a bit of structural) improvement over Haylo #332, I think it looks like as if inspired by American Collage Football team uniforms with a lot of stripes? actually not, I was just playing with colors..

Possible Materials: The designer noted the following materials could be used in production: Fiberglass, Leather, Polyurethane Foam.

Metal Panty Arm Chair
The Arm Chair: Well, actually I was working with elasticity, materials and so on so forth, I did not realize even myself how come it came to be this design, from orthogonal view it looks like alien eyes or a face and from the point of standard people, it really looks like panties..

How to Produce: The production is as follows; a well done mold (or molds depending on how much of this you want to weld together) is prepared; this mold is actually simple because we will weld the seating after the mainframe is prepared..

Possible Materials: The designer noted the following materials could be used in production: Metal.

Dimensions and Packaging: The enclosing box for a single Metal Panty Arm Chair is 673 mm x 624 mm x 448 mm, each box contains a single Metal Panty Arm Chair and the bounding box dimensions for the package is 723 mm x 674 mm x 498 mm, roughly 160 pieces fit into 20' standard container and 340 pieces fit into the larger 40' standard container..

Recreate Image Mazarin Arm Chair #385 designed in 2009 by Onur Müştak Çobanlı
Permanent Link : http://www.omcdesign.com/?design=385&type=Arm+Chair [View]
Product Family: Elmas
Mazarin Arm Chair
The Arm Chair: Mazarin is a type of diamond cut, I wanted to make a family for the "Solid Cut" so I come up with armchair version of the couch. Although it appears very sharp, this is also a very comfortable design..

How to Produce: Again, for this I imagined to use Fiberglass as it is easy to work with, it should to be molded over a metal base (even wood is an option as skeleton structure or some other material), chromed finishing. Black leather cushion...

Possible Materials: The designer noted the following materials could be used in production: Fiberglass, Plastic, Metal.

Dimensions and Packaging: The enclosing box for a single Mazarin Arm Chair is 852 mm x 656 mm x 858 mm, each box contains a single Mazarin Arm Chair and the bounding box dimensions for the package is 902 mm x 706 mm x 908 mm, roughly 72 pieces fit into 20' standard container and 153 pieces fit into the larger 40' standard container..

Recreate Image Lapis Arm Chair #369 designed in 2009 by Onur Müştak Çobanlı
Permanent Link : http://www.omcdesign.com/?design=369&type=Arm+Chair [View]
Lapis Arm Chair
The Arm Chair: An elegant chair to fill in the happy home spaces! You can lean backwards without fearing to fall, this chair is so comfortable that it redefines your feeling of comfort, you will never sit on another chair after this one!. I would also like to note that this is a re-interpretation of the Chinese Ming chair, we wanted to carry the traditional Chinese chair to the modern era and give it a new look and feeling..

How to Produce: Perhaps we can have it in metal coated with leather, the structure can be welded and then we can have a coat on it, this would be a simple solution, more industrial solutions such as injection molding of plastics can be thought, it is important to have an inset metal support for the legs in this case. Wood could be a very good alternative as well..

Possible Materials: The designer noted the following materials could be used in production: Metal, Leather, Wood.

Dimensions and Packaging: The enclosing box for a single Lapis Arm Chair is 700 mm x 900 mm x 675 mm, each box contains a single Lapis Arm Chair and the bounding box dimensions for the package is 750 mm x 950 mm x 725 mm, roughly 72 pieces fit into 20' standard container and 153 pieces fit into the larger 40' standard container..
