Yum Lightbulb
The Lightbulb: The old lightbulbs are disappearing with the arrival of new technology, this lightbulb is powered by light emitting diodes (leds) to give an ambient light to your environment. The leds are on the bottom and the bright part you see is an illusion, that part is actually empty / or filled with a reflective material so that the leds that are at the bottom will enlighten it and it will look as if it is an Incandescent light bulb..

How to Produce: Injection molding of plastics or blowmolding of glass for the transparent parts, the other parts require a bit of engineering to setup wiring, connection of leds etc..

Possible Materials: The designer noted the following materials could be used in production: Glass, Electrical Components, Metal.

Dimensions and Packaging: The enclosing box for a single Yum Lightbulb is 120 mm x 150 mm x 120 mm, each box contains a single Yum Lightbulb and the bounding box dimensions for the package is 170 mm x 200 mm x 170 mm, roughly 5880 pieces fit into 20' standard container and 11928 pieces fit into the larger 40' standard container..
